This is a hand forged copper bud vase. We form and texture the metal using different hammers and other metalworking tools. The etched designs are first painted onto the metal by hand then etched using an electrical current. We apply a patina in several layers and then remove it in certain places to enhance the subtle details in the etching and the hammer marks. Lastly, we wax and buff the metal to protect from water and give the patina a nice glow. One of a kind. Signed
