The base is meticulously shaped by hand, utilizing a blend of antique and contemporary metalsmithing techniques. To achieve its soulful character, we apply a rich bronze patina to the copper. This finish is then hand-waxed and buffed to a soft luster—a process that simultaneously protects the metal and accentuates the rhythmic marks left by the hand-wielding of the hammer.
The Shade: A handcrafted hexagonal mica shade, constructed entirely in our studio, which diffuses light into a deep, amber radiance. The shade has been designed and sized to fit Table Lamp Number 8.
The Finial: Personalize the silhouette with your choice of a solid copper finial or a copper/crystal pairing point of contrasts.
