This is a bud vase made from pure copper. We use antique and contemporary metalsmithing tools and techniques to forge and texture the metal. The images are painted by hand on to the metal with specialized paint and then etched using electrical current. A bronze patina is applied to the copper in layers to get the color we want then we buff and wax the finish to enhance the etchings and protect the patina from water. One of a kind.
